Thank you for riding in the 14th Annual West Yellowstone Old Faithful Cycle Tour!
There are 0 spots available as of July 12, 2011.
8/24/11. We have contacted the individuals on the waitlist that we anticipate a spot for. All other riders may register on the waitlist to be included in next year's announcement but it is unlikely a spot will be available for this year's ride. Thank you for your interest and happy trails.
All participants must register in advance. There is no "day of" registration for the Cycle Tour and to ensure the first 350 riders are registered, all entries will come through the online registration. There will be no refunds on registration for any reason, including tour cancellation. You may have another rider take your place, subject to director's approval with waiver/emergency contact info updated. In the event of a full ride, a waiting list will be collected. The Director will fill cancellations from this list, and refund the original party less a $10 cancel fee. No cancellations will be honored in the 72 hour period before the ride. Please have a friend take your place and notify the director.
The cost for the tour is $55 for each registered rider (kids in bike trailers do not need to register, you can opt to purchase an additional dinner for them if needed). Included in the registration fee are:
- Two feed stations along the route. The first will be located at Madison Junction and the second will be located at Old Faithful. The feed stations will provide snacks and drink, but not full meals. We still recommend that you carry enough food and water to keep yourself energized. Restaurants and grocery stores are available at Old Faithful.
- Three sag wagons (vans with trailers) to patrol the route. Once full, they can give you a lift back to West Yellowstone. The sag wagons are available to transport riders to Old Faithful at the start of the ride for those who are looking for a shorter distance.
- On-course mechanics to assist with minor problems and flat tires.
- Complimentary T-Shirt. Extra t-shirts can be purchased for $15, $20 for xxl.
- Final feed meal immediately after the ride from 4-6pm. A vegetarian option will be available. Extra dinner tickets can be purchased for $12.
- No park entry fee on September 24, 2011
- All proceeds donated to the Yellowstone Park Foundation, the Reid Sanders Memorial Fund, and local non-profits.
- Lots of FUN!
Cycle Tour check in will take place from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Friday, September 23, 2011 and from 7:30 to 8:45 AM Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Chamber of Commerce Visitor's Center located at 30 Yellowstone Avenue (across the street from Free Heel and Wheel). All registered riders must pick up their packet prior to the start of the ride. You may pick up packets for other registered riders.
